In some Miele Hobs the size of the pan is recognised, and heat is only generated where
a pan is detected, saving energy and time. The zone automatically
switches off when the pan is removed, no more energy will be released,
guaranteeing safety and ease of use. N.B. Features will vary depending on Miele Hobs model. Miele hobs Peace of mind - If something spills over onto the control panel or you place something like a tea towel over the controls, the hob will switch itself off automatically, to prevent it accidentally burning on or igniting. Protection against overheating - The Miele hobs induction zones and the hob switch off automatically if a zone overheats due to an empty pan being heated up.
