Miele washing machines have fewer mechanical components, there is less wear and tear to componentry, so your machines will reward you with many years of excellent service. With such a wide range of programmes you can wash everything from jeans to delicate silk and woollen garments in your washing machine.

MIELE Washer-dryers - Miele revolutionary washer dryers, with the Honeycomb drum, offer a practical combination of washing and drying in the same appliance. They are quiet, use only as much water and energy as they really need and with a spin speed of 1500 rpm leave your laundry with just the right residual moisture levels to ensure efficient drying in the sensor drying system.
MIELE Washing machines - The silks programme designed for washing 1 kg loads of silks and linen items and the handwash programme for up to 2 kg of delicate garments has been declared by an independent test institute in Germany as having "better wash results than can be obtained by hand". Because the wash action is so gentle any garment with a handwash label, can be washed completely safely in the knowledge that it will not shrink, stretch, matt or felt beyond the accepted tolerance. And because there is less creasing the amount of ironing needed is also reduced, thus providing "Easy care" for your laundry.
MIELE Tumble dryers - To finish off, our dryers offer 9 drying programmes and 2 timed drying programmes as well as a woollens hand care programme for fluffing up your woollens after washing ready for natural drying and a 3 minute programme for smoothing out fabrics before drying to reduce the chore of ironing.
Miele washing machines Water Plus system - With the Water Plus button you can raise the water level in the machine and/or add an extra rinse cycle. This is invaluable if you live in an area with soft water, want to use phosphate free detergent or if a member of your family has sensitive skin.
Hydromatic system - All Miele washing machines work on the Hydromatic system where specially designed drum ribs with fins scoop up the water and carry it to the top of the drum, before releasing it onto the laundry from above, ensuring efficient soaking. This means that you use very little water - only 42 litres on the top of the range models.
Miele washing machines Automatic foam sensing - Should overfoaming occur in the drum, the motor automatically reduces the drum rhythm, enabling the foam to subside. Once this has happened, the original drum rhythm is restored and an extra rinse cycle is brought into the programme. This means that good Miele wash results are always achieved.
Spin speeds of up to 1800 rpm - Depending on model, Miele washing machines offer a choice of spin speeds up to 1800 rpm. A gradual run up to spin and an imbalance check ensure that your laundry is handled as gently as possible. There is also a top limit to the spin speed for various programmes to prevent fabrics from being spun at an inappropriate speed.
Controls - All Miele washing machines have fully electronic controls, ranging from single dial controls, touch buttons or state of the art controls with a user friendly large clear text display. These have no moving parts, which means less wear and tear to the machine and a very wide choice of "intelligent" programmes. Miele washing machines are also extremely easy to use, as every programme has a choice of appropriate temperatures, so there is no danger of making a mistake.

With some Miele washing machines Novotronic models, you can delay programs up to 9 1/2 hours. You can do laundry overnight.	Some Miele washing machines have an angled control panel. This makes controls very easy to read.	The ball valve system seals the outer drum to prevent detergent from being wasted.

The easy to clean lint filter removes loose fibers from the wash water. This filter protects the drain pump and unscrews to be cleaned easily under a tap.	The Novotronic controls continuously monitor both the intake and the drain lines. If it detects a problem, indicator lights on the control panel advise you.	For extra thorough cleaning of your laundry Water Plus increases the water levels of certain programs. This has benefits for people who are allergic to detergents
